I was just checkin out the payouts for the big Superbowl race at Joliet & wondering if this is correct? Winners only get paid these $$$? I didnt see anything about R/U or 1/4 finalist money.

Isn't the shootout only one round. The winner of each class gets to participate. If its true thats not bad for one round of competition.

Im not sure honestly? I heard they werent running any clases together, but if they are doing the one round shootout & paying that as extra, then thats definitely a good deal :)

That's what I thought it was. It states on the NMRA site that MM payout is still $1K so that $500 must be for the extra match up

You are correct it's for the winners of the 1 round shootout race. Great chance to make some extra cash.

Hey guys - saw this post and figured I'd give the official word. Jeff you are correct that's just the bonus money to winner's of the final shootout round - it's paid in addition to the regular purse.

It's going to be a great race we're all very excited!
