Cash? Cash? hahahahahaha, no it's nice to have a guy like Don West for a supporter. DOn is always looking to step up the capabilities of his dyno. I am fortunate enough to be one of the only people that will spend hours beating up my engine to get a little more data.
Besides, anyone can use his services.
Mine was the first on his dyno to use the individual cylinder wide bands. Nascar and NHRA guys have used them for several years. There are other NMRA guys who use them but don't talk about it.

Is that the new system from Innovate? I like the idea, but for something so high tech, I'm not sure why they choose to use the cheap sensors.

Bosch
Ken is correct. The NTK LM1 is a better sensor. I have one on my AFM Uego 1000. It is however about $150.00 more per sensor. For awhile they were being gobbled up by the Nascar teams and were very hard to get.
I talked with Doug at EFI systems. for the sample rate of the inovate ST12 the Bosch sensors are just fine.
Now if you want to sample a little faster Doug tells me that you can actually see a cylinder fire.
all cool stuff. It sure opens up a lot of opportunity.

Robin,
Do you have a good source for the NTK sensor? I have an AFM 1000 and I'm paying retail for the sensors straight from them but I know I can probably get the sensor somewhere else and put the connector on. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ken, it might be awhile til Robin can answer your question. He is on his way to Florida already to get in a full 4 days of testing before Bradenton. But his answer is no, he doesnt have a good source to get the NTK L1H1. Theres a little cross information at this link which I'm sure you already know about.
