I Think It's A Great Idea To Have A Drag Radial Class At Edgewater. My Car Is In The Middle Of Major Reconstruction And It Will Be Late This Year At Best Before I Am Ready To Run But I Will Definately Be Running This Series Next Year. This Would Be Great For The Local Cars That Are A Little Of Time Wise From The Pro;s At Nmra And Fun Ford.
Good Luck!
I Hope This Series Puts Osca Out Of Business!

Thanks! For this year, we will have to see how good things take off. But it would be nice to maybe add in the DR class at the final race or something. We are tossing around some ideas. As long as all goes well i would like to add it into the full schedule for next season. Of course if i win the lottery ill be sure to add it much sooner lol :D Lookin forward to seeing your car out soon!

Kelly,
I think a true street class would go over very good here in the tri-state area since every year at Norwalk the Fun Ford event has the biggest turn out of the whole year. True Street is a class where you could get a large fan turnout and class size. The 30 mile cruise makes it more of a street car class unlike the OSCA where the normal working guy doesen't stand a chance of winning. True street is the primary class I am building my car for and if you had a True Street class I have 5 or 6 friends that I know would run it.

We do have a true street class, but its not like FFW or NMRA. We dont have time to do the 30 mile cruise or anything like that. Our classes are straight 1/8th mile heads up racing. No indexes or best of runs. Check out the class post for the rules :) I dont think anyone will be complaining about the 2k to win payout as opposed to getting a big trophy lol. If we add any more classes it will be an Outlaw Drag Radial class.
