Hey, what about those unfortunate fools with 2.3 4-banger stangs? Should we let them race with us?

Remeber you were telling Rey that in theory the amount of power he would need at a certain weight to run an 11.50.

I was wondering in that same theory using the same math and all what it would take to duplicate the same run with a 3400lb car?

I was gonna ask this but then Stangcrazy temporarily disappeared.

I'll guess 385 rwhp

I gained 6 tenths of a second by adding just 16rwhp to my combo when we put the new motor in.Also my 60 ft went from mid 1.6's to 1.7 in the process. So I don't think I need near that much rwhp to get the car to run 11.50's at 2850.you mentioned about 340-350 earlier when John. I don't see that being
necessary.I would think that 320 would get me there with my 60 ft working the way it should.

Hi Rey
When your 60's changed were you changing gear ratio or shift RPM..

In my car I'm shifting around the 60' light so depending on what gear I have, if I short shifted or caried it out, will change my 60' but not effect the ET as much..

Well my 60ft is bad because of tire shake. I can't get rid of it for the life of me. That is why my car has not run the good numbers. It can but my suspension is so wacked out that I can't get the car to hook. THis car has very good mph. It just needs to hook and it doesn't.

Bring that thing to BG. Maybe we can figure someting out to get the 60's down. You really need someone to make a high quality digital video of the passes to find out how the car is reacting to your adjustments.

The car is going to BG for sure. Wether or not I will be driving it is up in the air. Brent Delk ,the owner of Delk Performance might be driving it if I can't make it. It is already down there in the area getting ready. I will let them know that you guys are willing to take a look at it. Thanks Ian, I wish I would have had some help before with my suspension, but I didn't really know anyone well enough. Thanks for the offer :)
