Hello,
I'm 99% sure I won't run F/S. The new car has a manual rack and a k member in it with a spool and 33 spline axles.Oh ya the battery is in the trunk to! Unless it runs some crazy number. I will be running o/c at the Grove and Atco. Atco has a 12 scond index class that pays 350 to win and if you win one round you get the $35 entry fee back! It's either Tues. or Thurs nites. Also NSCA has a EFI class that looks like fun! They run at Atco and Cecil County! I will be in Florida to watch, as My wife has a seminar down there that week and I get to go for free He He! I can't wait till Feb. 1 when Atco opens! Get to try the new car out!!!!
See You All Soon,

If nothing comes up F/S 6500 will be in Bradenton. I must admit though that waiting on these final rules is becoming very frustrating.

John...one thing I have learned over the years, a person is not required to be racing to complain/whine about rules. :)

Hey would any of you guys fit into the Street Machine class at NSCA? I know its more of an index class but maybe you could fit in? They are also revamping the American Muscle rules to include up to 2006 "muscle car" style bodies, ie Mustangs, Camaros etc...so there might be a class there for ya also. The rules are up at www.nsca-racing.com in the forums.

This delay is bringing up some pretty bad memories about racing with the NMRA.
I think I might just put the ski kit on the Savage instead....

Sounds like more fun to me....

Hey Shawn:
It's an HPI Savage nitro powered 1/8 scale Monster truck. I put an Atomik F-350 body on it, and some other tweaks.
It's pretty cool. It's 4WD, and it'll do about 40 mph in stock form with it's stock two speed transmission. It sucks for racing, but for jumping stuff and running into a solid object at full speed, it can't be beat.
They've got some pretty cool videos (including some insane jumps) over at www.hpiracing.com
Don't be fooled by the "list" price. All the online hobby shops have them for less than half that price.

Hey Sklyer Hardy somebody told you wrong. Friday has came and gone, still no final rules. I have been very patient but this is very frustrating. Oh hey Sklyer this is not a slam on you so please don't take it that way. Jonathan why do you keep slamming the NMRA about these rules when these rules only give you a fighting chance at competing with the 4 v's????

The only thing I was upset at was that the NMRA took the advice from someone that has not raced competively in over 2 years......AND we have less than 90 days to make these changes....
