I have a Liberty Pro-shifted T-5 that i bought From paul wiley last year and it's still holding up fine. When i got the trans from paul it had been freshened before i bought it.

Same trans here works flawless if only I could say that about the clutch.

Get the G-force version. The stock t-5 gear set won't make it out of the burnout box:rolleyes: My tremec tkoII broke too many times to recount, the G-Force has been a good piece. I believe the top 5 in P/S ran the g-force gear set(Even Rich when he ran those insane times). There are many diff companies that will build the box with the g-force gears.

Another vote for G-Force. Can't beat it....or you can beat it. Ugh, just get the g force. :D

All transmissions break, just a matter of time before the clutch gets the best of it. It all depends on clutch pressures on how long any of the trans will last. The new TKO-500/600 are made of better material than any trans legal for the class at this time, but the rotating mass is considerably heavier than that of a T-5 G-Force. The straighter cut gears also will have a little less drag than one with more helical. I, along with about 5 others broke 2nd gear in the T-5 in BG, (Probably has a little to do with the burnouts in 2nd in my opinion), but there was also several broken in Atco too. I have also broken my share of the TKO, but the TKO II and TKO-500 has lived and not caused any problems of yet.
