would anyone have an issue with removing or making exceptions to the two front seat rule. im not trying to remove the seat for weight, but for mounting the intercooler. the exception could also be good for nitrous bottles.
whats everyones thoughts??

Okay that felt good. She will not let me talk that tuff at home so I had to get that out of my system.:reddevil:
But really I don't care personally I would love to take riders in my turd so i could give a full tour of the track and point out all the nice things at each venue from a drivers point of view. :icon_pidu:

If I remember rite I drove and Dean and Joel both came there with me. I also beleave we used to launch if off in the streets with riders and go to all the cruise night around town there. Oh hell I still go to the cruises with the car. Vern went to the last one with me and my Dad. So mine is a street driven ride.
What about riders Kelly. Mel would love to go on a pass.

Hi Greg dont let Tracy kid ya..... it is a single type power adder class only, we do not allow twins in 8.5.

Maybe try the twins at 3400Lbs. on SB's only. This may open the door for some new cars. Didn't Chris or someone else want to run a turbo with NOS with a 100lbs. penalty? Really, think about it, adding a SECOND kit to a NOS combo is what? One power adder or two? Just some food for thought.

Someone had just asked me about this: hes running an Eagle Talon with a 4 cyl, a turbo & NOS. Hes ran a 5.87 and is thinking he'll be in the 60's with the things hes done recently. What do you guys think about allowing dual adders for 4 & 6 cyl cars? I told him it was something i had to think about. I know we had Chris asking the same thing last year in regards to his supra motor in a mustang. If the majority is up for opening things up ill see what i can do but just be forwarned that this could turn into a rules nitemare. I dont want this class getting micromanaged with a ton of rules.

I will not care about any other persons combo
As long as they don't care about the new one Vern is working on for me
rules and women are both understood differently by different people so there should be clear rules with no grey areas.
Not that the rules are bad here
I LOVE THEM :054:

Just keep in mind that the rules will be finalized by the end of Nov. From now till then opinions count!

I'm fine with allowing both above combos (all three). Teching won't be much of a nightmare. The weight penalty for NOS vs. turbo second kits needs to be different. 100lbs. for NOS and 150lbs. for a second turbo. That would put the Talon @ 2850 and the mustang @3100lbs. Don't rule out Gregs SB twin combo @ 3400 or atleast get get everyones though on allowing it. I'm game for some new faces. Even if I'm spectating.

Tech wont be a nitemare, keeping up with the rules will be. I am all for more cars if we can get a good set of rules without hurting the class.

Thanks for the offers guys, but I think Ole Grey will be back. Quicker than ever. Art's not going to give her away. If there's something he's learned from buying/hanging around Shawn and Wagner, it's how to make a profit selling. If Grey does sell, good for him and somebody will be getting a very nice car that will be ready to go come race day.
