congrats to dave and Art On the win At the last race. you guys made it to the number 2 spot in the points I see and bumped ol bram down to 3rd. making that 5.53 pass and the MPH 129 thats moving that N20 car down the track. I am glade you did not hit me when I was trying to Make A 1/4 mile run out of that track. I knew something was going to go wrong when Dave said (I got A funny filling about this) just before we ran. hope things are not to bad with the motor we need that thing for the OCT 18th race ..

Thanks Vern. It was a very interesting day to say the least. We definately got all the problems fixed that we'd been having the past few months. From Saturday's misfire problems at tech to the NOS micro switch being bent, somehow, so it was making all the time. We seemed to be chasing our tailes all day. The final draw was a sheared dial pin on the distributor just before we faced you. Needless to say everyone knows what happened to both of us. Then to top it off I layed down a great pass in the finals and hurt the motor 4.98 seconds into the run and still went 5.54@123. I'd like to sit back and savor the win, but right now I'm sick to my stomach trying to figure out what went wrong. I plan on going over all the data log info, ignition, fuel system and NX plate to find the problem. According to the plugs, the tune was lean. Art and I will figure it out and see where it leads us. Then we will sit down and discuss if we'll be back next year. Right now I just need to take a break from things. What hurts me the most is that I take the engine failue personal and was really looking forward to making it back to Ohio Valley (Art was too, I'm sure)for a scheduled 8.5 race, even if it may have been for only one race. I just thank GOD that everyone made it home Saturday in one piece. Congrats to you on Points Championship.

Well the Ole Grey Mare still had some fight left in her after all. :deadhorse
GOOD job Frenchy.
Art you earned that one.....
Vern it looks like I need to take another day off work You just name the day buddy, and I'll be there.
I'll be the first one to say I have few real FRIENDS in this World and your one. That wreck scared the shit out of me. Glad you are well and unharmed.
Bramwell has the fastest 8.5 car to ever break the timer beams with the tail lights. Happy to see you in one piece buddy.

Only way I will be back with the car is if it doesn't sell and I can come up with some money to rebuild the motor.

I think we need only One car from the shop to be in 8.5 next year I might move to Pro Street Or True street got to see how things go. we need to pick up sponsors for next year if we all are not out of work by then.. with Tracy putting up the cash for all the new motor parts I think he will Be the man to beat next year time will tell . Or we can pull art dave ollie billy and myself into one team and go for pro street take on ned
