We Are Testing Wednesday
Geez, I just talked to him today and he didn't say anything about a new engine. Looks like some major work to be done to get that to fit. Like shock tower removal, new hood, (Vern has a good used one) headers look a tad small. Also, are sheet metal intakes illegal??
Brent, come on, you said the economy was bad. This looks like about a $100k motor.
Turbo, are you spotting him some cash after what he has done to you guys?
It can't make any real power with that blue thing on the valve cover can it ???

You'd be surprised. It looks like that new "boss" motor that they are working on to get back to pro stock. Already have the blessing from NHRA on 50 specially prepared Mustangs. If NHRA doesn't kill them with body restrictions and wheel base crap they might make it. Kind of boring watch all GM and MoPar stuff unless you are that type of fan.
Now IHRA is another story.
Seems like Vernon's has a BLUE OVAL on the valve covers.:smile:
Is that why he is home working on it today ??? Ha Ha... stepped into that one.....

Dam I cant keep anything a secret just got back from BES Monday with the new Motor and hear comes Andy posting about new motor it looks close but not the same as the one I got. tony says this will pull Money out of the president of marathons back pocket .. I knew I would have a target on my back so I made the call to BES and took them up on the motor offer...I will have it in tonight and ready ..

:070:You guys are killing me! I can't keep up with Brent, and Arts, big money! Brent must have put on the high pressuse sales to pay for that bullet. I'm afraid to stop and see Brent when he is at work I might leave thinking..... Dam I didn't need a new car!! Hell I don't even like Chevys.... how in the hell am I going to pay for this new Vet!! I was told he even sold some poor guy the socks of his own feet!! Dam he's good! I going to have to find a way to make some money! For now I guess i'll take the 175 jets out and put in the 250hp jets maybe I can keep up. Going to test on Friday.:biggrin:

and the old guy was happy .. bram's good he sold me a time share at the white house I don't know when I will ever have time to take the vacation but the guys got the lease for another 3 months and then I can move in for a month Bram says only cost me 1000.00 not bad someone should buy the jet he has for sale check it out

Bram give me some detals on the jet fuel millage, runway distance,does it have a bar?,does it have room for my car? Kelly keeps making these races further away for me I'm going to have to make some changes to my transpotation!
Didn't know anything was wrong on your set up. Sorry.
Was a minor issue with the brakes bleeding off on the line lock, Vern loaned me some parts to get it going.
Made some suspension changes and going to smack it hard tonight to see if I am any closer on the setup.

That's good, I like that. Brent should be able to pay for the fuel for the travel time share. Andy, Turbo, Scott-what do you guys think?
