JUST YOUR BASIC 366 TALL DECK POWERED 92 CAMARO.

I really am getting close to running instead of just wanting to be. Still need to paint the hood and bumper covers, make up a couple of hoses, bleed the brakes down and trim the dash pad in to fit around the roll bars, add the door seals and door panels. Got some finish up and set up work underneath as well.

Special Thanks to my good friend Vernon House of " Vern House Race Cars " for all his nice work, He is one of those people who's work is worth more than he is willing to charge you for, as such he is a great supporter of Heads up Sportsman Drag Racing and is responsible for a lot of peoples race cars being nicer than they could afford to pay for most other places......

Car looks good. I would agree with your comments about Vern. Even from here that looks like an awfully big motor for only 366 c. i. Car probably has to way, what, about 3600lbs?

The way I understand it if you run a BB N/A combo at a cubic inch level smaller than the small block cars there is a special exemption for to the 2450 lb. Justin is talking about !!!! Ugg, maybe I dreamed that ....

You got it, you can weigh a max of 2,450 lbs. No more or no less. If your combo is under 357 C I, you can have that weight.

Vern and his wife came down today, the girls went walking down town and we had a throw down on it all afternoon, Last thing we done was weigh it. Very !! close to starting line weight it was going to allow me to add a lot of weight where i want it and is currently 50.9% on the front. Pretty happy !!! the way to came out, I was sweating it as these cars are not friendly for the lighter combo's Headed back out to the shop now, later.

What do you mean light weight? I have been talking to the tech director about weight for BB combinations and he is in agreement for a weight addition to BB combinations and all N/A combinations. That should make it fairly equal.

When you get out let us know. Would like to watch unless it is a private test session like a close door practice in the NFL.:D

Ya Ya Ya and I have been talking to him also and it seems quite the opposite is true and it is SB n2o that is laying down the #s and getting hit with additional weight.....

Must be nice. Big shop by yourself. A huge motor in actual size. Reminds me of a big block, though. I see you got the distributor in the wrong place.

Looks fast setting there. I need to upgrade. Can you give us a grant for R&D?

I don't think those digital readout gauges are legal. You got the wheels on. Looks good. What size are those tires in the rear. Look a little big for the class.

Got the car out and made a slightly disfunctional light hit on it at Brown County today, Got rained out of a second pass so I don't know too much but everything felt good, went straight and drove out smooth as the wifes town car.

I had never made made a pass at Brown County before but once again Vern Is right and it hooks well and is pretty smooth too. Staff is small town nice and racer friendly, treated us super fine.

Super Special Thanks to Vern House for all the nice chassis work and endless hours on the business end of a Tig Welder to put this car together. It won't get another easy pass !!!
