Please note in the rules, i have removed all of the mumbo jumbo about the MSD boxes. You are still not allowed any of the conventional bracket racing aids. With this being an index class, i didn't see the need for the MSD rule.

I dont think Traction Control should be allowed. Slew rate stuff MSD digital 7 shouldnt be used in index racing like bracket aids it is an advantage. Just my opinion.

Hey Tim, thanks for the opinion. Im really not sure where to go with these rules other than id like to keep them as simple as possible. With it being an index class and allowing unlimited power adders, etc i just dont want people to blow their stuff up. For those that use an MSD for ignition, what would you suggest? Im open to suggestions :) From anyone for that matter lol.

I'm on the fence. I don't have one (digital-6), but I see how a programmable timing curve could fine tune your ets.

What prompted the change, was someone running one, or was someone asking to run one?

I was actually going to take that out before the season started, and just forgot. But i am up for whatever you guys as a majority think. I guess the way i see it, either way you can only go so fast. But i understand that "helping" someone to maintain that consistancy may be the issue here with the MSD boxes. I'd just like to find a happy medium.

I think for car counts you should keep the rules simple and try to include a wide range of cars. Without car counts we dont have anyplace to race. I think you have the right idea.
