Well we finally got the ole' 5 liter in the 11's today. We were in NMRA trim just like if we would have been running at an event.

60ft. 1.670
330ft 4.929
1/8 7.637
mph 90.70
1000 9.971
1/4 11.933
mph 117.53

I was very surprised with the mph after dynoing it the other day to just see what it had I knew it should hit the 11's so it was just a matter of doing it. I will now just get me tune in the car to see if it will keep up wit hthe other 5 liters. I was using the stock computer with no chip and the car will pull to the rev limiter hence, one reason I have the need for a chip. I am also still using my trusty stock T-5 that has 5th gear and everything just like a stock...well it is a stocker. The car made 315 rwhp and 345 torque and it needs to be leaned out because it is rich. I've got nothing to hide as most that know me know that I tell what I've got unlike some others. Yes the car is also Speed Density and is running a stock computer with 24lb injectors. Questions or comments are welcome. I only got a chance to make one pass because the track was so full. My next pass was made with my mighty 4 valve and it's knocking on the 12's with a 13.08 at 109mph. I was spinning enough in 2nd that I had to peddle it. Oh yeah it still has the 3.27's and 245/45/17 street tires and IRS.

Way To Go Jamie....I'll bet the extra power came from rust on the valves and combustion chambers.....it dropped the CC's down 1/2 point or so.....so you had more compression.....

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Later Bro.....

Ps. Did you fart during the run????

First off, congrats. Second, you probably don't want to heard the second part, but you did say comments are welcome. :)

stock tranny
speed density
no tune (need more RPM and leaned out)
pretty good 60' but we know you can do better

Sounds like a front runner :)

Congrats Jamie!!!! A tune will pick up almost three tenths. It did in my bucket!!! A former FS Champ drove my car with the stock tranny last year and said don't touch it......If you don't have the money to get it pro-shifted atleast take out 5th....Yeah, you can almost knock off a tenth from the 60ft with more track/seat time (Adel track was that busy?) Hope to see you at Bradenton!!!!

Thanks for all the congrats. Why hate on S.D.?:D The stock tranny will be in the car until it breaks, I just will not take another part that is working properly off this car to replace it with something supposedly better only to see it do nothing. Hey if you think you can make more with M.A. send me chip ( free of course:D ) and I'll stick it in there to see what it will do. I have no illusions about this car running up front because I know it will not happen but maybe I can get it to being competitive. You would'nt believe how many people were at Adel yesterday Jonathan!! The Tallahassee car club brought up 130 people!! Thanks again for all the congrats and constructive comments.

Jeez....NMRA needs to have a race there instead of Silver Dollar!!! I agree about the tranny, Jamie. I believe that Holten is running Mass Air, and he is faster than us with our antique SD setup....:p
