What size tires???

So i'm sitting here and I'm going crazy trying to figure out what size tires I want to run on the car.
What size tires are you guys running on your application vs. gear size?

Well, there is only three legal sizes, 275/60R15, 275/50R15, and 275/40R17. All of the mod guys use the 50, and some 5.0 guys use the 50 and some use the 60....

so lets say for a 2V guy that is running a 15" wheel. would that 28" tall tire be overkill?

I think all the the mod motor guys ran 50's. It all depends on what gear you run. There are many variables . Testing and getting seat time. It is hard to say what size tire you should use. Like I said all the mod motor guys ran
50's.
