I know ways to do both of what you asked! I don't even have or need to get involved with these threads anymore, you guys are getting smarter over the years and not showing so much ignorance. Creativity will get you your answers. Actually, I will pm you something to ponder on just don't be telling the whole world.

I know how to beat the pumping machine. Didnt Gabe leave his coil wire on once when they were pumping his engine? That would fix it

Ya, that'll do it too, for sure, however, if you break the tool for them, I do not know any way to fool the "Check bore and stroke". Well maybe a little tap with the rubber mallet on top of the piston to seat the bearing tighter maybe.

Actually the dial calipers benefit the racer. They will measure less than a dial bore guage. Just as long as they don't put alot of pressure on them. plus the top of the cylinder doesn't wear thus showing even less CID than the middle of the bore.

A bunch of metal shavings from a brake lathe mixed with your engine paint will work wonders on heads... ;)

So THAT'S why we can't paint our cylinder heads. http://racersden.net/forum/images/smilies/rollinglaugh.gif
