Thanks GUYS!!!!!!!! It was a great year filled with it's ups and downs. We never say die over here. Steve you have one bad hot rod, that sucker moves out! I still think we both could have got into the .20's or quicker for sure if it were cooler! I would like to Thank Mike Washington for the opportunity and confidence in driving his car this season you da MAN. Also Thanks to J.B. for all of his help this season. It helps to have the experience and knowledge around you 24-7. Thanks to Rich Groh you know your a Bad Bad Man, your engine top to bottom is the BEST! Also Thanks to all of our sponsors for their help. I don't know what is in the future right now I'm still trying to figure it out, but I know I want to race next year for sure:D

Congrats Tommy. I don't believe we ever met, but you did an awesome job.
And I tried to get people to switch to E7's a couple years ago, but no one would do it. LOL Just wish I could afford to try them out with a good motor. Guess they will take up shelf space for a while. :)
Congrats again!

Thanks to all, but it's not all about just throwing on a random set of E7's. There's a lot more into our car than a set of heads and a motor. It will be an interesting off season.

HAHAHA. You definetly have more than us. You are around 170lbs heavier and run the same MPH. I don't think your lacking HP :( I think the pushrods need some help.

Honestly the only changes I see to even the class up would be remove 150lbs from the GT-40 Combo. Everything else is fine.

3v should get a buck fifty

200#s for 3vs
150#s for 4vs

KenB

200#s for 3vs
150#s for 4vs

75 for the 4v's

Best run of the weekend for Jeff was a 11.41 right?

150 would put that at 11.25, bypassing the all time record. Not exactly a good model to have when making rules changes. Rules changes should get you closer, not you throw you in the lead.

I have not looked over all the numbers from everyones passes.. like 60' times..

I believe Jeffs 60' on that pass was in the 50s..

If we go by just the ET numbers without factoring in the 60' times then a 100#s for the 4vs would be needed. 11.41 to 11.30..

3vs were given a 200# lead for some reason but they need that removed so someone will bring one out to try..

60's don't matter but on Jeff's .41 pass it was a 1.579 almost identical to Steve's 60' on his 11.309 pass. You can give a weight break to GIVE someone the all time record. Not going to happen.

BTW, who's gonna run a 4v next year anyway?

Is Jeffs car gutted???? Like is all the heater core/blower motors, everything behind the dash gone? If not, gut it and make it a race car like ours and put the weight in the trunk. I'm sure that would help out. If it's already that way. I say 50lbs maybe 75lbs. But if the 4v gets that, the GT40 should maybe go 175lbs. 3v's, knock off 200lbs and let's get some out there.

Thank BRR MRR. It was great meeting you this year and fun racing against you, your the type of guy I like to race. We can bust on each other back and forth in the lanes and drink a beer after the race. That's what was the best thing about racing this year. I know everyone b*tches back and forth between races but I honestly think we all just get bored.:D
