one fast word ryan
modular
But the word Modular by itself means "composed of standardized units or sections for easy construction or flexible arrangement"
So again, I ask, Whats different? :D
When I took out my 4v I ordered a K-member and told them I needed one for a SN95 with a 5.0.... there response was the same as mine.... "Whats the difference?"
So I layed mine on the floor next to it and they look identical.

the 94 and up are wider, but i do beilve the motor mount holes are all in the same location!
basically the 94+ k member will not fit in a fox because its to wide! i do belive a mod motor will bolt right on a fox k-member. Never tried though? i would rather modify some motor mounts then trying to make a newer k-member fit an older car. Besides dont the rules say you cant modify the K-member

The K-members have the same engine mounts, same chassis mounts, same measured width.... the control arms are different, spindles, etc.....
K-member= same =)

Hi Guys,
I was told that if you want to put a mod motor in a fox body you need a newer k memeber.! I would love to not have to change the k memeber! I guess I need to contact tech and see if I can modify the fox k memeber. The car is going to get the roll cage done and chassis done and then we will see. Oh yea it will be a AOD to. He He.
Tank really likes to be different. Hope to have it ready for Florida.

I understand what your saying, but thats only because they are being sold with control arms which are different. I went through this also 2 years ago trying to get the right one for my car and when I called UPR they told me they were all the same and the differences were in the control arm lengths and ball joints. Said the K members were the same. The trouble with installing the 5.0 into the sn95 body was when using factory mounts the engine sat too high in the engine bay. That has to do with the body design, not the k member. I will take some more measurements tomorrow. I could very well be wrong. I am only speaking of the experience I went through when I took out my 4v and installed the pushrod.
