We haven't yet... doing a few more things that we wanted to do before the first race... hopefully if next weekend is nice we'll get out there...
BTW... who is going to be the first 8.5 tire guy to go 5.60's?!?
any takers?
Bramwell... Powell... Us.... not sure of any others that have run in the 5.70's that are still running...

Haven't tested yet, but we did make the 1st Valley race. Made a few changes over the winter and could only manage a 5.91 and 5.87 @ 122+ pedaling from a wheel stand. Taking the car to Vernon House's "Hustler Performance" for some minor Chassis work and to finish some of our exhaust work. By the way we have our first BB NOS combo in the 70's. Vernon went a 5.79 at Hardinsburg on Friday night. He has around a 1979 body Malibu. There are some pictures of it on the valley board. Against me in eliminations he would have been in the 70's again at the Valley but his NOS fuel pump took a crap on him. He had a 3.79 at the 330 and finished with a 5.94 @ 114mph. I'm sure it won't take long for one of us , if not several to hit the 60's mark.

Were your 60fts good at the Valley Sat. I ran N/A in the 6.50 class with a new converter and picked up .03 in the 60ft and a .10 in the 1/8th.

Mine were 1.39-1.41 on the rear tires after sunset. I know Vernon went 1.35 during the day and 1.32 after the sun went down. My two daytime pass were wasted. One with a motor pass and the other with a 100ft burnout.:) I forgot to change my tune up from my motor pass launch point and roasted the tires off the launch. We dropped the car off at Vernon's tonight to fix our chassis problem with the launches, finish the exhaust and to do some other minor mods.
