I thought there was, but their page lists these:

http://www.worldfordchallenge.com/classes.php

* PROMOD 5.0
* PRO OUTLAW
* STREET OUTLAW
* OUTLAW DRAG RADIAL
* WILD STREET
* COBRA CHALLENGE
* OPEN COMP ELIMINATOR
* MODULAR STREET
* PRO LIGHTNING
* STREET LIGHTNING
* FORD DIESEL
* BRACKET CHALLENGE

I guess maybe we'll be spectating instead of competing :confused:

WOW...there is SEVEN bracket classes!!! Might as well call it WFBC!!! WORLD FORD BRACKET CHALLENGE!!!! If I wanted to watch bracket racing I would just go to one of my local tracks!!! This is ridiculous.....Didn't WFC used to be about heads-up racing???

Actually, there are 9 bracket classes. The Bracket Challenge is sub-divided into 3 classes.

Brackets bring in big bucks for promoters on entry fees. Heads-up cars put the fans in the seats.

Yep, forgot about those classes, those three are usually the biggest. You're right...this is going to be the biggest gathering of amatuer meteroligist in the world!!!

Shawn,
I think there is a class for your motorhome. Not sure where your modular V10 MH would fit, modular or trucks. If not the MH, bring your modular pickup. There a bracket class for everybody.

Last year it was "Outlaw" This and "Outlaw" that.
I swear they had "Outlaw" Mopeds.

Now this year its "Outlaw" Index racing at it's finest. :D

Neither is yours, but I bet with brackets all we gotta do is put JPC stickers on the doors and they'll let us BOTH run :D

Nope, it's all Outlaw Open Comp. Index racing would be too exciting.

From a promoters standpoint it only makes sense. The heads up cars in the lower classes were allways few. They increased the payout for Renegade a few years ago and it had very little impact.

Real Street dodged the bullet last year just because 5.0 Magazine is a Series Sponsor.

This has been a spectator race for years. That is what make the bucks. The huge payouts and the big Pro feilds are what pack the stands. 5 or 6 cars in a heads up class doesn't make sense.

Since the payout to win is less than a win in the NMRA combined with the contingency from the NMRA, what do you think the turnout is going to be for the slower heads up classes????? Yes, the brackets always has and always will be the money maker for any track, along with the spectators...Like I said before, if I want to watch bracket racing, I have 4 tracks to choose from in MD every weekend once racing starts!!!
