I have had this car 12 years. It started life as a Florida state patrol car. I ran a few races back in 2000 but with everyone going more towards building a race car I just couldn't compete with my street car. The car was meant to be driven on the street so that was always kept in mind when building it. I could hop in the car right now and drive it to the other side of the country. I have driven it to Anderson's dyno shootout (300 miles one way) a few times. Here are some details on the car.
306 CI
R302 with eagle crank and rods with je pistons 9.5 compression neutral balanced
Canton race pan with windage tray
Trick flow renegade heads by Total Engine Airflow
Holley systemax by TEA
Anderson B4R cam
Anderson power pipe
Pro-M 80mm
83# injectors
Crane HI-6r PS-92 coil
twin Bosch pumps with 8 feed line and 6 return (pumps bart tobener used to run when he first went into the 8's)
Sumped gas tank
convertable motor mounts with poly trans mount (street car)
Vortech YSi
Mac 1/34 headers
3" x-pipe
3" mac cat back with tailpipes
TSI AOD deep pan(out of Chicago)
stock shifter
PTC converter (stalls in the 3000 range on the street and around 5000 in race trim)
aluminum drive shaft
8.8 3.73
Moser 31 spline with c-clip eliminators
31 truck trac-lok
Battle boxes
Steeda aluminum uppers with HPM lowers all poly
eibach drag springs with airbag
AJE tubular k-frame with arms
AJE struts with coil over #150 springs
Aerospace front brakes (heavy duty street use type)
Anderson PMS with data log
Spal electric fan
trans cooler with fan
Black paint (car was painted about 6 years ago not show quality but still looks good)
Tan interior that has been redone
has full cage but never been certified. (gun lake performace, they did some work for Shawn Johnson)
Battery is in the trunk
Centerline convo pros 15x4 15x8.5 with drag radials

Car was not stripped since I drive it on the street. Weighs 3300 with me in it.

I don't have a trans brake so times were made leaving at idle.
Runs 10.90 at 126 the way I drive it on the street
Race trim with more boost, tires and race gas 9.6 at 143
It has all the parts to go much faster. I never tuned it on th dyno. With some tuning no doubt in my mind the car would go low 9's. This car would be excellent for wild street right now. I'm sure I'm leaving alot out so just ask.

Price is $16,900

To anyone interested in this car.....I have seen it in person several times and it is a very, very nice car. No corners were cut. He built the ultimate, reliable 9-second street car. And that's no BS about him driving 300 miles to compete in one of AFM's dyno shootouts cuz I was there to see that too. If I had the money, I'd buy it myself.....

I love that car Jim. I am still not sure if the car is faster or you in the 60' races! Remember the day! :)

Good luck selling it. Kinda hard to believe you are going to let it go. Well worth the money.
