What kind of mass air meters are you guys using? We were at maple grove last weekend & ended using a last minute stock 99-up stock maf. I just cant see spending $200-$300 for a mass air meter that isn`t used for anything but to pass tech.
Thanks
PS. we didn`t even get to qualify cause we couldn`t make enuff passes to finish the nhra comp lic.:(

Pro-M 80mm.
We had it from when we used to tune with an EPEC.

Since the mass air meter is used a flow restriction, you'd be best served with the 80mm Pro-M design meter as it flows approximately 150 cfm more that the OEM 90mm Lightning meter. No reason to give up 150 cfm of airflow in heads up competition.

There should be no reason you can't find one used for 100-150 bucks. try the corral.net

I started to take mine off in BG last year to check plugs. It was late and the wife wanted to go to dinner so instead of tighening the clamps back up I started the car to pull it in the trailer and sucked a clamp into the blower.
