Directions to MG

Is there an easy way to get to MG from southern Pa ??? Going through their directions from Mapquest looks like they have you going through a bunch of back roads (all I need to do is run over an Amish buggy) LOL
Is it easier to go up Rte 30 through Lancaster or go over to Gap and take out Rte 897 (I think) ???
Help! Leaving around 0730 Saturday.
BTW - we are 20 miles south a York.
