Hey All:
I am selling my 87 LX hatchback. Its an original 5 speed V8car , it has under 40K miles. It is a low option car with factory manual windows, locks, and mirrors. It has been converted to Mass Air with a pigtail harness. Perfect quarter windows, ashtray door works perfectly.
The car has been repainted the factory color. Nice job but not perfect.

This car has been well maintained by its 3 owners. I did all of the performance modifications to this car and they have been done to a high standard. The asking price is less than the price on the well matched, working parts that have been installed, and there's a heckuva nice car around them.

This car has extensive modifications, and they have all been installed correctly without the halfass rammyness that is so common on hotrod Mustangs. Almost all of these mods are very new <5000 miles.
Engine:
TFS Twisted Wedge heads (actually they are track heats, the same casting as twisted wedges with no smog ports, way better springs, and 7/16" rocker studs) Unported.
Scorpion 1.6 ratio rockers
Correct pushrods for TFS heads
Anderson N-412 camshaft (nice sound at idle, pulls hard, very driveable)
Pro Products Typhoon intake (just like performer RPM)
70mm Edelbrock TB (not made by BBK)
Anderson Power Pipe
80mm PRO-M Meter
Explorer short block with < 40K miles
FRPP double roller timing chain
ARP heavy duty oil pump ds
new gaskets and stainless bolts throughout
Exhaust:
FRPP shorty headers
Bassani offroad X-pipe
Dynomax super turbo cat-back
Drivetrain:
G-Force T-5 with syncros. 2.92 first, .59 OD. Strong as a TKO, shifts much better. Cruises at 2300 RPM at 70mph with the gears. $1900 transmission.
Pro-Motion custom clutch (will hold 400rwhp) so soft you'll swear it's hydraulic.

Aluminum Driveshaft
FRPP 4:10 gears (gears are set up right-no whining)
Moser 31 spline axles with extended studs

The car drives nice, and has been a 1.63 60' on BFG drag radials.

Speedbrain ECU - fully programmable with a laptop(not included), lots of awesome features (run any injectors with any meter, take full control of all aspects of EFI management) stock mass air EEC comes with the car also.
Hyfire VII digital ignition box (Just like an MSD only you don't need the pills) two-step is already wired up and ready to go.
Weld Draglite wheels with skinnies and BFG Drag 275/50 radials in the rear.
Proform shift light (didn't want the whole monster tach deal)
