There have been some changes to the 2006 Outlaw Street Madness schedule. The schedule is now:

April 1st
June 3rd
July 1st
August 5th
September 2nd
October 14th

We have decided not to do the combo race when the NSCA event is at Edgewater. We feel that changing the July date and adding the August date will be a benefit so please do not look at this as a bad thing. We will no longer be conflicting with the NMRA/NMCA Superbowl race, which was previously a concern.

TECH
All tech will now be done at Edgewater's tech tent. Be prepared and make sure your car is consistant with the current NHRA safety rules. If you do not have the proper license and safety gear (Firesuit, Jacket, Pants, Shoes, Gloves, Helmet, Chassis Cert, etc) that your cars ET mandates, you will not be allowed to compete. Edgewater also requires that you have at least one working taillight. When the lights come on at the facility, you must be able to have a working taillight or your run will be DQ'ed.

PARKING
We are trying to get everyone to park as close as possible to each other, because we were told by several racers that they had a hard time hearing the lane calls, so please try to park on or around the hill so one of us can come over to you to let you know when you are being called. As a general rule, the track will run the Super Pro class, then OSM, then Brackets II & III. So if you hear the call for Super Pro, be prepared to be called next.

AWARDS BANQUET
At the end of the year, Edgewater has a banquet for their bracket racers. We have been invited to have our banquet on the same night along with them. I believe it is usually in January, but i will have more details on the date and the banquet itself later in the year. We will be giving the winner and runner up in each class jackets and photo plaques. We are also working on other awards to be given out. We are doing everything we can to attract new sponsors and hope to have more for all of you by the end of the season.

WINNER PHOTOS
I (Digital RaceCraft) will be giving out 1 free 8x10 to each winner per race. Please make sure to either see me at the track to let me know which photo you'd like, or you can check out your photos on www.digitalracecraft.com and give me a call or email later on to let me know.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this announcement. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 513-260-8262. I will be posting the June flyer shortly!

lol that is pretty bad. A bunch of people have let the track know about the PA system. Hopefully somethin will be done about it, but in the meantime we'll make sure we get someone to let ya know when the call is made. The hill is just a bit off to the right after you pull into the gate. Its basically the far right hand side of the track, on the pavement. Cya in June!

Kelly what was the idea behind no May race?

Edgewater has other events that month and we werent able to schedule anything in. I would have loved to fit somethin in May so we can have our finals in Sept but theres nothing i can do. That is also the reason why we have our finals on Oct 14th. I cannot change the date, unfortunatly, because there are too many other events on the Edgewater schedule.
