OK, the quiet is killing me, I have heard a few tidbits floating around so I thought that I should share them before BG.
Tim Matherly will be bringing 3 spare engines, 4 transmissions and 5 clutches to the Finals in his quest for the championship. I heard that he has replaced most of the fasteners with "wing nuts" to enable faster turn arounds between rounds.
I heard that Craig had tested some Mountain Dew Code Red in his quest for even sharper reaction times. The results where dissapointing as he was able to "go red" on a .400 Pro Tree. Rumor has it he has been buying the standard Green Mountain Dew as it has worked well in the past.
Brian Meyer has Leo Johnson's hot Street engine in the trailer, sometime after qualifying they "might" switch engines. As you can see by his pretty painted block he has something to hide, can you say "alcoa" ????
Rumors that I have installed a Custom Procharger impeller in my Novi 1200 are totally false!
It's going to be fun this weekend boys and girls.....
